What is...

ROOTS RISING is the youth leadership experience for the Green Roots Convergence!

Our initial experience is production of a reality-television show featuring youth competing and collaborating in a Survivor-like show. And participating youth will help train other youth!

For youth (and adults) interested in participating...

At this time, youth from 12 and up are able to submit as a contestant. YOU WILL need your parent's/guardian's permission. Auditioning is a two-step process:

First, a video audition must be submitted;

Second, if you're video audition is accepted for this season, then you will be invited to an in-person audition (auditions are being scheduled for August Saturdays) - again, an adult or guardian must accompany you.

*** IMPORTANT: Participating in Roots Rising activities are unpaid opportunities.

CAST

PRODUCTION AND SUPPORT

Individuals (Adult and Youth) who are interested in working on the Roots Rising in a production capacity (e.g., camera, direction, gaffing, human resources, hospitality, etc.) may complete the Interest Form below.

In your letter of interest, please include why you would like to participate AND any experience you have in projects of this kind. Don't worry, your experience (or lack of it) will not disqualify you to participate in this amazing project!

I'm ready to complete my interest as a contestant or production member and I have my parents permission.
