Green Roots: A Convergence of Community and Resilience - October 16 - 19, 2025
A Reeds and Roots style day of workshops and other fun activities, followed by a Farm-to-Table dinner and an all-ages community dance.
Past and potential workshops include topic such as: clothing repair, back-yard composting, foraging, medicinal herbs, diy plumbing and other household repairs, shiitake mushroom inoculation, fermenting with honey, making apple-cider, how to process and eat black walnuts, food preservation, foraging, building with mud (cob), making sock puppets, bee-keeping, cordage with natural fibers, installing solar power in your home, acorn dying, raising quail in an urban setting, basket weaving, art in nature, back-yard permaculture, and much more.
